Home Inspector Certification Courses

Although pest inspections in New Jersey do not require a license, many lenders require the NPMA-33 form to be completed as part of the home inspection process. Only Home Inspectors who hold a Commercial Pesticide Applicator License are authorized to complete and submit the NPMA-33 form.

To become a Certified Commercial Pesticide Applicator in the State of New Jersey, you must complete the NJ DEP–accredited Basic Pesticide Training (CORE) course and the Category 7B course for Termites and Other Wood-Destroying Insects. After completing the required training, you must pass the corresponding NJ DEP examinations for each course.
