The purpose of this training is to provide the candidate applicator or operator with a basic knowledge of the following information:
- Federal Laws and Regulations.
- State Laws and Regulations.
- Pesticide Labeling and Safety Data Sheets
- Types of pesticides
- Pesticide toxicity
- Pesticide poisoning and first aid
- Personal protective equipment and safety when handling pesticides.
- Safe transportation, storage and disposal of pesticides.
- Application and calibration equipment.
- Introduction to IPM - Comprehensive Pest Management

Meet our Instructor
Greg Ten Hoeve brings more than 40 years of pest control industry experience to NJPestTraining.com. His career has included positions with Sentry Termite & Pest, VW&R/Univar, Terminix, and JP McHale Pest Management, along with earning multiple state pesticide licenses and professional certifications.
Today, Greg is semi-retired, teaching with NJPestTraining.com while consulting with pest control companies on technical, training, and safety issues. He also serves part-time as Technical Director for Sentry Termite & Pest.
Greg brings decades of
hands-on, real-world pest management experience
into the classroom, providing students with practical knowledge gained throughout his career.

Requirements for ONLINE Classes
- Government issued photo ID is required and will be verified prior to and immediately after the class.
- Attendees must be visible throughout the entire session (with live video on) and must stay to the end.
- Quizzes will be randomly scheduled, & attendance will be visually monitored by a moderator.
- In order to be marked "Present" for this class, every Attendee
MUST log-in to the online Class from their own device (PC, or MAC) and use their
own unique email address. Absolutely No Sharing of devices or log-in.
- Call-ins (audio only) are not allowed; you need a computer with *live* video capability.
