Our 1 Day 6-Hour 7B Training Class if approved by the NJDEP in lieu of 40 hrs of OJT. In addition, you must also take a Basic Pesticide Training Class to be certified. No longer do you need to take a 2 or 3 day course!
This subcategory includes commercial pesticide applicators using or supervising the use of pesticides to control termites or other wood destroying pests.
Meet our Instructor
Michael Cavanaugh joins the NJPestTraining.com team as our 7B Instructor, bringing an exceptional 40-year career in pest management to our students. As the longtime owner of New Jersey-based PestID for 13 years, Michael offers a deep, hands-on understanding of industry operations. A prominent figure in the New Jersey Pest Management Association (NJPMA), he served as President from 2008 to 2010 and has held numerous board positions. Michael’s influence extends into the legislative sphere, where he has frequently advocated for the NJPMA at Senate and Assembly hearings on pest management and bed bug legislation, and has served as a key voice for the New Jersey Green Industry Council in Trenton.

Requirements for ONLINE Classes
- Government issued photo ID is required and will be verified prior to and immediately after the class.
- Attendees must be visible throughout the entire session (with live video on) and must stay to the end.
- Quizzes will be randomly scheduled, & attendance will be visually monitored by a moderator.
- In order to be marked "Present" for this class, every Attendee
MUST log-in to the online Class from their own device (PC, or MAC) and use their
own unique email address. Absolutely No Sharing of devices or log-in.
- Call-ins (audio only) are not allowed; you need a computer with *live* video capability.
